Our Lemon Pickle is handmade using native variety organic lemons and time-honoured traditional methods passed down through generations. Pickles have always been an essential part of Indian meals, loved not only for their tangy, refreshing flavour but also for their natural probiotic benefits that support healthy digestion and gut balance.
Our pickles are prepared in small batches using cold-pressed unrefined organic sunflower oil. This lemon pickle is naturally fermented through lacto-fermentation in traditional Bharnis (ceramic jars). No synthetic or natural vinegar is added, allowing the pickle to ferment slowly, developing its authentic tang, aroma, and probiotic goodness.
Only organic lemons and traditional spices are used to make this pickle. It is prepared using spices such as Heeng (Asafoetida), Red Chilli Powder, Black Salt, Turmeric, Fennel Seeds powder, and Jaggery, creating a perfectly balanced, flavour-packed pickle that adds tang, spice, and warmth to every meal.
In Ayurveda, lemons (Nimbu) are valued for their Deepana and Pachana properties, which help stimulate digestive fire (Agni), improve appetite, and support smooth digestion.
